Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Told in Song (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use toldinsong.com and related services.
What we collect
- Account and order details you provide (such as email address and gift story answers).
- Photos and other content you upload to create a gift.
- Payment information processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Basic technical data needed to run the site (for example logs, device/browser signals, and security checks).
How we use it
We use this information to create and deliver your gift, process payments, send transactional email, moderate uploads for safety, prevent abuse, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to operate the Service (for example payment processing, hosting/storage, email delivery, and AI tools that help generate song lyrics or media). They process data only as needed to provide those services for us.
Meta / Facebook
We may use Meta tools to publish marketing content to the Told in Song Facebook Page. That publishing app is operated by us for our own Page; it is not a Facebook Login product for site visitors and does not collect Facebook profile data from the public.
Data deletion
To request deletion of personal data associated with your gift order or with our Meta/Facebook publishing connection, email us with the subject “Data deletion request” and enough detail to find your order (for example the email used at checkout or a gift link). We will delete or anonymise personal data we control except where we must retain records for legal, security, payment, or dispute reasons.
